After a long and uncertain shutdown with COVID-19, Orlando based MBE and WBENC member Price Chopper Wristbands will unveil its newest offering at the IAAPA 2021 convention right here at the Orange County Convention Center!

The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) represents over 6,000 amusement-industry members in more than 100 countries worldwide and operates several global attractions-industry trade shows. Its annual IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida, is recognized as the world's largest attractions trade show in the number of attendees and exhibitors and providing members insight into current amusement trends, laws, operations, and industry methodology. It also represents industry equipment manufacturers, distributors, operators, industry suppliers, and service providers.

With a strategic acquisition in January of 2020, Glownet Inc and its cashless software platform have been rebranded to "TAP N GO". The platform is the most versatile of its kind in the industry and has already been utilized by some big industry names this year, successfully processing more than $4 million in transactions.

Shara Pathak, President of Price Chopper Wristbands, explains how the name of her new company came up: “The name actually came from a WBENC pitch competition I entered in 2020. “Tap and Go” was a line I used a few times in the pitch. So months later, I thought to myself - “that's the name!”

A unique ability to control access and operate efficiently even offline, coupled with granular analytics and reporting, the system replaces the tedious and inaccurate system for hand-counting paper tickets.

The company is already on par to triple this business in 2022, making big waves for the leisure and entertainment markets. This accelerating growth will continue to create new job opportunities for both Price Chopper Wristbands and Tap N Go in Orlando Florida.
